Vinny from Metsville is not happy. Vinny can't get SNY and I want to help him out, find out how you can help here
I thought I'd already posted this information here, but I guess not.
Here's the phone number for the office of Bob Burns, SusCom's general
manager for the local area:
845-531-3924
I strongly suggest that you all flood this man's office with
complaints, as it is he as much as anyone who is responsible for the
predicament we find ourselves in. Your call will be fielded by a
secretary named Rose, so just ask to speak to Mr. Burns or to be passed
to his voicemail. And if you get a chance to speak to the man himself,
ask him how it feels to be the man responsible for stealing the Mets
from Putnam County.
Go get em Vinny, the Foot's got your back!
Sphere: Related ContentThose of you with MLB.tv and MLB radio know that often they leave the mics on when they go to commercial and forget to cut the feed after games. We've been able to listen in on some pretty funny comments from the broadcast booth. A similar situation occured today during SNY's postgame interview with Willie Randolph. While Willie was being asked about Victor Zambrano's perfomance, Gary Cohen was throwing in some pretty candid quips. Check it out on Matt's Metsblog.com
Sphere: Related ContentSNY has been criticized for their on air fumbles and now we lose Willie Randolph in the shuffle. SNY teased a Willie Randolph post game interview, pretty standard, but never returned or offered an explanation why it was not aired.
YES gets no love from Torre either. Joe has declined their request to do a post game one on one with YES reporters and are forced to get in the back of the pack with the rest of the press.

Officials had expressed optimism for weeks that a deal would be
reached in time for Opening Day, but talks dragged on slightly longer
than expected, frustrating thousands of fans. DirecTV has about 1
million customers in the metropolitan area.
….word is 625 is SNY on DirecTV.
Sphere: Related ContentI just found out theres a Mama's in Shea Stadium. How could I have missed this?
Mama's is Omar Minaya's favorite deli back in his hometown of Corona, Queens and apparently they have a store right in the stadium. Found this on RoadFood.com…
It
is in the field level tunnels behind third base, but you can also get
to it through the bar even if you don't have field level tickets. The
turkey sub, with fresh mozzarella and gravy is great. It is the best
ballpark food I ever had. The store, a few miles away can get real
crowded, so it is nice to be able to step right up and get a sandwich
at the ball park!
This is a great story Kozel…thanks!
Definitely going to make a stop in there at my next game!!! Read more about the original Mama's here. Also, check out Mets Weekly on SNY this week for a featured story about Mama's and Omar touring his old neighborhood of Corona. Metsblog.com's Matt Cerrone is featured in the episode as well in a Blogger segment. Hot Foot wants SNY to get rolling on an all Mets blogger show, lets get that thing going, and invite the Foot!
Sphere: Related ContentFor all you bloggers that had the joy of going to Shea on opening day, I must say I am extremely jealous. SNY blows, on opening day, there production truck has a power outage before the top of the 3rd inning and Mets fans are without the game for a full inning. Talk about going crazy and throwing the remote control. I called SNY three times, no answer. They put on a Mets Classic game, reminded me of the Heidi bowl in football. Then the game comes back on with no sound only to hear Ron Darling and that other clown trying to do play by play…very disturbing. Let's get the kinks out SNY, or it will be a long season for Met Fans.
