If you’re like  me (a Mets fan, drunk), you’ve probably for the most part stopped paying attention to the Mets (at least sober). Luckily for us, there are other, more dedicated (and sober) fans out there, willing to jump on the grenade, bobble it, let a few runs score, but then pick it up and finally end the game. In defeat. So lets see what the bloggers that survived The Great Injury Train of 2009 are up to:

Disgruntled Mets Fangives us some decorating tips for Citi Field.

The guys over at More Hardball  give us the Mets injuries in baseball card format.

Greg over at Faith and Fear takes a good look at Daniel Murphy. A great read from F&F, as always.

Steve over at The InterMets takes a look at the one thing that went right this year: Pedro Feliciano.  Yeah, I can’t believe I typed that either.

Want to ignore the present? Of course you do, you’re a Mets fan. Enjoy the past! Daily Stache takes a look at the All Time Stache Mets. If only we had a time traveling DeLorean and nine mustache grooming kits, man we could get something going still.

And now, we ask for a moment of silence for all the Friends of the Foot who don’t seem to have survived the season. Toastie Joe. Church of the Fonz. You Can’t Script Baseball. Upstate Mets Fan. And all our other Mets bloggers that were DFAd, 60 Day DL’ed, or traded to the Nationals for prospects.

There is not enough booze in the world to make this team watchable anymore.
