ESPNews is reporting that the Phillies have resigned 46 year old southpaw Jamie Moyer to a two year deal. Moyer was a very impressive 16-7 with a 3.71 ERA in 2008.
When the Phils picked up Moyer in 2006, I doubt anyone saw him having this type of success in the NL. Moyer was arguably the Phillies second most consistent starter behind Cole Hamels this year.
ESPN.com is reporting that the A’s have offered free agent SS Rafael Furcal a 4 year 40m contract. Furcal spent the last three years with the Dodgers.
