The Mets are looking to resign Pedro Martinez. ESPNdeportes is reporting that the Mets plan on meeting with Pedro’s agent even though the meeting has not been scheduled yet.
“We have interest in him. We’re going to talk to his agent when we have the opportunity,” Minaya said Tuesday.
I think I am in the minority with this one but I want Pedro back. We all know what a great competitor he is and I can envision him coming back strong. Battling the sorrow of losing his father and injuries I think it is tough to judge last year, though many do, and I see their points. But I have a feeling about this and man do I hope I’m right.
