Mets Make K-Rod 3 Year Offer

According to FoxSports.com Glenn Fraley the Mets made Francisco Rodriguez a three year offer.

The New York Mets have made a three-year offer to free-agent closer Francisco Rodriguez, a club official said, but are not optimistic about him taking it immediately.

“All of these agents think there is more out there,” the official said. “They’re going to be in for a shock.”

I hope the Mets don’t get too cheap here and wind up losing out on K-Rod. I know there are people who would rather Fuentes. I’d rather have the 26 year old.
