I previously reported, albeit prematurely, that the San Francisco Giants have signed Edgar Renteria, having first heard of the deal on WFAN. It’s since been made official, as Ken Rosenthal reports for FoxSports.com.
As I said last time, who knows…maybe going to a San Francisco team that’s pretty much in shackles thanks to Barry Zito will take some pressure off of Renteria and he’ll be able to find where all those hits that he misplaced went. Good luck to him and good luck with all that.
