Ex Met reliever Henry Owens has been suspended by the MLB for 50 games after testing positive for a banned substance. Owens missed all of the 2008 season with multiple injuries to his pitching shoulder.
Owens was dealt with fellow reliever Matt Lindstrom to the Marlins in exchange for lefties Adam Bostick and Jason Vargas.
So, after the Mets dealt Owens to the Fish, he has had 1) multiple arm injuries, and 2) has tested positive for a banned substance. Nevertheless, I would do anything to get the flamethrowing Lindstrom back for the two scrubs we got in exchange.
