With recent reports saying that Sox GM Theo Epstein will “explore” trading Manny Ramirez, Jon Heyman over at SI.com says that Omar Minaya will make no effort to acquire the frustrated Ramirez. Manny is unhappy with his contract, as he would rather get an extension or just be granted his release at the end of this year.
Haha, 2005 memories are coming back to me. Danys Baez, Manny, LMIllz, and than it was squashed. To be honest, Manny is not a team guy, he’s all about Manny and were better off going for a guy like Raul Ibanez or Randy Winn.
