How Does Sandy Alomar Get A Pass?

Of all the coaches who have cost the Mets a few ballgames, how can Sandy Alomar be absolved of the slash and burn of the Mets coaching staff? I’m sure Sandy is a very nice man, but he is a horrible third base coach. How many times has Sandy left a runner dead to the rights on his way home, most recently Brian Schneider, which I would argue certainly cost the Mets a win that night.

I would venture to guess this again is more than meets the eye and these firings are not completely about results but about relationships within the organization.
