Yankees right hander Chien Ming Wang suffered a sprained foot running the bases yesterday against the Astros. Wang had a shutout going but had to leave the game after throwing only 71 pitches. It’s now being reported that Wang could have suffered a LisFranc sprain, a serious foot injury that could keep Wang out for the rest of the year.
Tough break for the Yanks, hasn’t been a good first year for Hankie.
