Tonight’s game against the Rangers has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as a part of a doubleheader tomorrow.
If you had tickets for tonight’s game, they are NOT valid for any part of the doubleheader tomorrow, but can be exchanged for tickets on another date.
I was there and waited until they made the announcement, but it was really inevitable. Missing the game was miserable, but honestly I was protected from the rain in the Loge section, it was a perfect temperature and it’s nice watching the rain. The high point was a bunch of Rangers players came out and went sliding on the tarp doing all sorts of slides and dives to the excitement of the crowd, it was really pretty awesome. It got to a point where the remaining fans were chanting “Lets Go Rangers.”
Reminded me of Robin Ventura going out on the field wearing a Mike PIazza uniform and a drawn on mustache and slid around the tarp at Yankee Stadium doing a Piazza impression.
