Not the prettiest win, but a win. Johan struggled a tad, gave up ten hits and three runs including a homer to Edwin Encarnacion. Santana used 38 pitches in the sixth inning, 116 overall. Its his first victory at Shea. Heilman, Feliciano and Sosa each added an inning of relief, with Heilman and Feleciano doing their part to see if they could make it a save situation for Sosa.
