The Mets defeated the Phillies tonight by a score of 4-3. Angel Pagan drove in Jose Reyes with a walk-off single in the 12th. For a full box score, go to MLB.com.

A nice bounce-back start from John Maine tonight. Maine gave up 1 run on 5 hits through 6+ IP while walking 5. He got into trouble in the 7th surrendering a HR to Pedro Feliz and then a double. Pedro Feliciano came in and walked the next batter before striking out the following 3. Aaron Heilman’s rough April continues as he blew the lead, giving up 2 runs in his inning of work. Show came in to bail out Joe Smith in a tough spot and got Chase Utley to ground into an inning ending double play. Jorge Sosa threw one pitch for one out and earns the Win.

Reyes was 2-for-6 and scored the winning run along with getting his first SB of the season. Ryan Church was 2-for-5 with 2 rbi. Pagan was 3-for-5 and is hitting .370 to start the season.

The Brewers come to town to begin a 3 game series tomorrow. Nelson Figueroa will make his first start of the year.
