On Newsday, Ken Davidoff floats the idea of the Mets taking a look at recently DFA’d Rangers starter Robinson Tejeda. Tejada reaches 95 mph with his fastball and was compared to Carlos Silva “in build and repertoire” by Baseball America.
The Mets had some interest in Davidson in the past, who is 26 years old and could be acquired for very little.
