Mike Cameron, now a Brewer, and according to CBS Sportsline will be seeing a neurologist tomorrow to make sure he isn’t suffering for post concussion syndrome, or as we call it here at the Foot, being a wimp. He blames it all on the collision with Carlos Beltran that ended his season so long ago.

So almost three years ago Cameron ran into someone, and needs to see a doctor now because he thinks its what is causing his problems. And he wants to use illegal stimulants. Maybe…just maybe…its time to hang it up Mike. Hey, I liked Cameron. Not as much as I liked other former Met outfielder Cliff Floyd. Or as much as Mookie, Daryl, Dykstra, Mazz, Ed Kranepool, Shawn Green, Nady.  But like…more than Vince Coleman or Dave Newhan I guess. The point..if I can still remember it…is retire Mike. You’re not going to get to use banned stimulants. If you’re not better from a 2005 injury, you’re probably not going to get better. We’ll miss you. Just not as much as we miss Nady.
