Adam Rubin reports in his blog that Ruben Gotay’s injury is not as bad as initially reported, and is merely a sprain.

Good news for Gotay, bad news for Anderson Hernandez.

Who Is Hot Foot?

Hot Foot was founded by a group of life long friends who also happen to be die hard Mets fans. Hot Foot comes from the great 1986 Mets relief pitcher Roger McDowell who would use a wad of gum to stick a roll of cigarettes to the back of unsuspecting teammates shoes and light them on fire, thus a Hot Foot.
