12:10PM EST : Jason Vagas pitches a 1-2-3 top of the first.
12:14PM EST : David Wright hit a home run with Jose Reyes on in the first inning to take a 2-0 lead.
12:16PM EST : Carlos Delgado struck out on six pitches. Moises Alou flies out to end the inning. Mets lead 2-0, end of the 1st.
12:20PM EST : Vargas remains in the game, and quickly retires the first batter.
12:21PM EST : Adam Abraham hits a ball off the top of the wall in centerfield for a stand up triple.
12:22PM EST : A fielders choice to Ruben Gotay drives in Abraham cutting the Mets lead to 2-1.
12:24PM EST : Vargas ends the inning with a backwards K. Mets 2, Wolverines 1, middle of the 2nd.
12:25PM EST : Ryan Church leads off and strikes out on five pitches. Both lefties, Delgado and Church, were fooled on the same fastball high up in the zone.
12:28PM EST : Gotay chased a pitch outside and dumped it in short right field for a seeing eye base hit.
12:31PM EST : Brian Schneider is hit by a pitch and takes his base. Marlon Anderson walks to load the bases for Jose Reyes.
12:34PM EST : Reyes lunges and pops up on a slider in foul territory near the Wolverine dugout by first base.
12:35PM EST: Brady Clark comes to bat and flies out to left to end the bases loaded threat by the Mets. End of the 2nd, Mets 2, Wolverines 1.
12:40PM EST: Aaron Heilman now in, gives up a stand up double to the lead off hitter down the right field line. Grounder to third, Wright flicks it to first for the first out of the top of the third.
