Interview With Nathan Vineyard

Adam Rubin, on his blog for the New York Daily News, has an interview with the Mets top high school pick of 2007, Nathan Vineyard. The 19 year-old Vineyard went 0-1 with a 5.27 ERA in the Gulf Coast League last season.

Nathan is part of the advanced camp roster that includes Angel Calero, Nick Carr, Stephen Clyne, John Holdzkom, Scott Moviel, Eric Niesen, Elvin Ramirez, Lucas Duda, Nick Evans, Juan Lagares, Richard Lucas, Daniel Murphy, Ruben Tejada, Gregory Veloz, Sean McCraw, Francisco Pena, Ezequiel Carrera, Brahiam Maldonado, Richard Pena and Raul Reyes.

The Mets are bringing along these players to give them a taste of what it is like to play with Major Leaguers and learn valuable skills for the future.
