Omar has been missing for almost two offseasons. I was a big proponent of his but now he is becoming scared to pull the trigger. With Santana, we are playoff bound and have a huge chance to make it to the World Series. Without him, who knows. Pedro: unknown, Perez and Maine: can they repeat and expand on 2007? El Duque: Is he 100?
If he sits by and does nothing, then Wilpon should let him go. Even if we trade away several prospects, we would have Santana in our rotation for the next seven years. We can always pick up a free agent outfielder to make up for the loss of Gomez and Martinez.
We lost a lot of links on this sidebar due to some technical issue. If you had a link here previously or if you link to Hot Foot and your link hasn't returned here please email us.
