ESPN is reporting that Alex Rodriguez and the Yankees have come to a deal. A-Rod would make $275 million over 10 years, with added bonuses including the previously mentioned provision for if he breaks Barry Bonds home run record. The deal has not yet been finalized with agent Scott Boras.

Thanks to Aaron on LI for the heads up.

Now that the whole A-Rod thing is over, maybe we can all move on with the rest of the hot stove season. Really though, all this fuss, all the rumors, the game four announcement…and he went no where. I’d expect Mo to stay too now, meaning after its all said and done…the only real big move was Torre to LA.
