Juan C. Rodriguez of the South Florida Sun-Sentinal reports that the Florida Marlins are willing to listen to offers for Dontrelle Willis.

“Sitting on the sidelines and hoping you’re going to get better, I’m not sure that’s a good way to go at it,” Beinfest said. “I’m not sure what major upheaval is either, but there are some things you’d like to improve on that may constitute some change on this roster in order to achieve those goals.”

Willis and Miguel Cabrera would earn a combined $19 million next year on a payroll that is not expected to go beyond $35 million.
