In the New York Post, Tom Glavine tells Kevin Kernan he’s having too much fun on the Mets to hang it up after this year…

“I’m having as much fun as I’ve had in a long time, and that’s a big factor for me,” Glavine told The Post on Sunday night. “It’s a fun team to come to the ballpark with every day. All the factors are there [to coming back].”

The free agent market for starting pitchers is thin next year. In my opinion, the Mets could do a hell of a lot worse than Tom Glavine, especially if he can give them at least what he’s done this year.
