Cliff Floyd said he could feel two pops in his ankle as he rounded first in last nights NLCS, NorthJersey.com quotes Floyd after the game…

“Something's not right and we'll see what's wrong,” Floyd said. He
is to have an MRI today and meet with doctors. “What I did in L.A., I
was optimistic and I told them I could play. I wasn't lying. … The
worst part is not me, it's shorthanding the team.”

If Floyd is done for the series, or even if he's limited to
pinch-hitting, Randolph's decision to include the ailing veteran on his
postseason roster won't look good.

I have to disagree with the last statement, even if Cliff cannot play the field, I think he is still quite valuable as a left handed bat off the bench, much more so than say Lastings Milledge or Ricky Ledee.
