I just found out theres a Mama's in Shea Stadium. How could I have missed this? Mama's is Omar Minaya's favorite deli back in his hometown of Corona, Queens and apparently they have a store right in the stadium. Found this on RoadFood.com…

The Mama's at Shea Stadium was about the only reason to go to a Met game this year!!

It
is in the field level tunnels behind third base, but you can also get
to it through the bar even if you don't have field level tickets. The
turkey sub, with fresh mozzarella and gravy is great. It is the best
ballpark food I ever had. The store, a few miles away can get real
crowded, so it is nice to be able to step right up and get a sandwich
at the ball park!
