MetsGal is actually Jeanette, one of the unfortunate souls born into a Mets family. Growing up in her Long Island home, where she still resides, her older brother was disinterested in sports, so her father turned to her to mold into Mets fanatic.

She recently graduated with her BA in Organizational Communications and has two goals in life: To make enough money at her non-for-profit job to buy full season tickets, and to visit every major league ball park.

Her favorite baseball memory is Robin Ventura ’s Grand Single in 1999 where she was permitted by her father to miss school the next day because she was so tired from watching the game with him.

MetsGal owns a white Jose Reyes jersey (a kids one no doubt, because no store sells a non-pink one) and can be found most nights moderating the Hot Foot Bleachers.
